Daydreaming

*The Virgin Suicides

*Daisy by Marc Jacobs

*Elle Fanning, in Somwhere

*Dakota Fanning, in Secret Life of Bees

Wheat-haired blondes wandering around in a sun-drenched field.

I know it’s winter, but it’s not like it ever gets cold here in southern California.

Same great taste.

Name change: it's CRYSTAL VIOLET now, bitches.

Crystal violet is a dye commonly used as a biological stain or bactericide.
Also, sounds nice.

The Creeps

Too awesome for words.

I love the bloody-bruisy thing. Gore makeup should be an everyday look. (I wish.)

Creepy-chan, also known as Allison Harvard. She was on America's Next Top Model:

I am jealous of Scott Pilgrim.

I'm excited for Scott Pilgrim vs. the World to come out. Actually, I disapprove of the "boy has to prove himself to girl by fighting other guys for her" theme, but Ramona Flowers has epic hair--- and I'm also curious about the mysterious Ellen Wong, who will play Knives Chau (badass name, eh?).

Screencaps from Youtube.

Awesome hair, awesome goggles.

I really love this sweater.

Her jacket is also awesome.

Ramona in the library...

Blue hair

And green hair

It was kind of hard to get decent screencaps of Knives Chau. She's a pretty neurotic character.

So, ehh, yeah. I'm kind of in love with Ramona Flowers.

Wait, what happened here?

Rebecca Turbow used to be one of my favorite designers. She made insane, inspiring, bubbly/flowery sci-fi costumes that made me feel all snuggly inside my soul.

But I recently re-visited her site, and was disappointed to find this:

What happened?? Her recent collections are all meh. There are still some touches of the old Turbow in there, but still, the clothes are all kind of boring and basic.

All pictures taken from her website here.

"This video gave me diabetes"

These are screencaps from Katy Perry's video for California Gurls:

Purple hair!!

... Candy wrapper dress?

Sparkly shorts, and, um, cupcake breasts. Yes.

And here we have Snoop Dogg, commanding his terrifying legion of gummy bears, in his glorious jolly cupcake suit!!
.....

I don't even like either of these artists, but I love the song and the video. I like the shameless, extreme-to-the-point-of-scary sweetness. It's creepy. It's like the ultra-girly sparkle-crap that I longed for when I was a child, but a scarier, more sexual version of it.

I want.

A cute short movie directed by Esben Tonnesen.

I'm telling you, I am IN LOVE with Stevo from SLC Punk.
I took a screencap; I think it's pretty decent:

Look at that jacket! Look at it!
I want it.
And him in it.
